Using this Guide

The PURPLE TABS along the top of the screen lead to resources links and information about the resources, by type.

ENCYCLOPEDIAS give background information, including theoretical appropaches, literary criticism, etc.

BOOKS include novels as well as works of literary criticism, author biographies, correspondence, etc.

ARTICLES in this context means journal (or magazine) articles.  Scholarly sources are appropriate for your research.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN is useful to get articles (or other materials) from other libraries.  Use the direct ILL link (also found near the bottom of the library home page) when you need to request something and you aren't working from within a database that has a link to request the item.

CITING SOURCES.  MLA Style, of course.

INTERESTING OPEN WEB SITES.  Just a couple of pages I found interesting.  See Dicken's manuscripts up close, and more...
