Finding Different Types of Library Sources

Our library offers you many types of materials.

There are different ways to find each type of material.

Whether you have assignments or not, you can use the TABS along the top of this page to explore some options for finding the following:

- Encyclopedias

- Books

- Periodical (magazine & scholarly journal) Articles

There are also tabs for hints about finding internet sources and evaluating web pages.

If we don't own any books or articles you need, we can probably get them for you (without fees)!  Check the Interlibrary Loan tab.

Finally, when you have found your sources and need to cite them, there is a tab with information for that work.  This is very important for scholarly work in order to avoid the problem of plagiarism!

Remember:  the librarians encourage you to ASK QUESTIONS!
