About Resources for Education Majors

Every discipline has specialized publications, ranging from Web pages from associations and institutions where educators are members or work to books published by presses with a focus on that discipline to journal articles published in academic journals.  Often the journals or books are published by associations or universities, but they also can emanate from commercial presses that cater to the needs of professionals and scholar in the fields of study within the discipline.

Educational publications include those that support and report on pedagogical practice and those which report research and provide insights into educational theories.

This guide is intended to help you discover resources created for, and usually by, educators.  Sharing knowledge is a core principal for most scholars and professionals in your field.
