Find Articles

Sometimes it is better to begin your search in article databases that focus on your specific subject area rather than Google or Google-like catalogs. For environmental science, the two best databases in the Linfield Libraries are Web of Science and Agriculture & Environmental Science.

These databases don't provide the full text of every article however, so you will need to search for those in the Linfield Libraries Search to see if we have access to the full text of the article.

Ingredients in Common Products

Not all household products list their ingredients on the packaging. You can find the list of ingredients in these free databases from the federal government.

Request Full Text

Occasionally you may find that Linfield Libraries doesn't have immediate access to the full text of an article. You can still get a copy by requesting one through Interlibrary Loan (often referred to as ILL). The library staff will get a pdf copy of the article from another university library. This takes 3–5 days, and you will receive an email when your article is available.

Use the link below to sign into your interlibrary loan account and submit a request. You will need to register the first time you log in.
