The Writing Center offers specialized writing support for graduate students. Graduate students enrolled in master’s programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, and School of Nursing can request one-on-one appointments with Dr. Maureen Barney to work on their writing projects.
Dr. Barney’s research and teaching focus is in supporting graduate students’ development as scholar-writers. She has over 10 years of experience teaching and consulting with both master and doctoral students on their academic writing. As a graduate writing consultant, she engages in collaborative dialogue about writing with students and provides feedback on how to improve their texts and writing practices.
